Wappingers Falls Man Critical After Motorcycle Crash

Wappingers Falls Man Critical After Motorcycle Crash

WAPPINGER, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said that a man from Wappingers Falls is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in the Town of Wappinger on Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Office said that 51-year old William Conklin collided with a car while riding his motorcycle near the intersection of Old Hopewell and Cedar Hill roads at approximately 4:30 p.m.. The Sheriff’s Office said that Conklin was transported to St. Francis Hospital in the Town of Poughkeepsie for his injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office said that an investigation found that a car driven by a Hopewell Junction man tried to turn left onto Old Hopewell Road but pulled into the path of the motorcycle causing the two vehicles to hit each other.
